Ultima Online came out in 1997 and was one of the first successful MMORPGs. The game has paved the way for such titles as EverQuest, World of Warcraft or RuneScape. Our memories show that what is more important is something else. Ultima Online was an extremely ambitious game with huge possibilities, ranging from fishing, raids, guild wars, thefts, murders of innocent players and trips to dangerous dungeons, to own – built and furnished to the smallest detail – castles and shops with others offered players with the goods of their own production (clothing, weapons, armor, magic drinks, scrolls, and even poisons for shots).
The videos presented below come from the Enhanced 3D and Classic 2D versions – fully giving at least a substitute of the enormous potential of this game.
